Fashion Revolution Week
A subject close to my heart: the Fashion Revolution movement.This/last week the Fashion Revolution Week took place worldwide and we asked big brands: who made my clothes? Who is behind our clothes? We also talked more about our textile chain on social media and shared some background information. The association also works in Switzerland to raise awareness about exploitation in the textile industry. It's always worth a visit to their website.
Mini collection for men
Yeah - Finally our crowdfunding for the men's mini collection starts. We are in the starting blocks, all material is already in Bulgaria and our partner production is looking forward to the order. However, so that we can estimate the demand in advance, we will only go into production if we have enough pre-orders and you can place them online now atwww.wemakeit.com/moyakala already make. Be it a gift for your boyfriend, husband, son... or you treat yourself to some high quality and sustainable boxers again, now you have the opportunity to order them with 20% pre-sale discount. We have a few boxer shorts and a tank top on sale.
The special thing about our sporty boxer shorts is the material, which feels especially comfortable on the skin. This is ensured by the fiber blend of Lyocell (62%), cotton (30%) and elastane (8%). Lyocell is a fiber made from eucalyptus wood from sustainable forestry. Since eucalyptus grows quickly and does not require artificial irrigation, this material is considered to be of particular ecological value. Compared to cotton, the production of Lyocell requires only about 5 to 10 percent of the amount of water. The fibers come from Lenzing.
In addition, the biodegradable material has other advantages. For example, Lyocell can absorb up to 50 percent more moisture than cotton. This makes it particularly breathable and suitable for sports activities. In addition, Lyocell regulates temperature, is anti-allergenic and resistant to mites and bacteria.
Shooting - Behind the scenes
Finally we were allowed to do our shooting with the new colors and models in Lucerne despite the extraordinary situation. Once again we realized, spontaneity has to be carefully planned! Until the evening before, we did not know where and how we would carry it out and were all the more thrilled that Hirschengraben Coworking + Innovation in Lucerne allowed us to use the roof terrace for an unforgettable shoot at morning hours. Thanks to the Hirschengraben association, the photographer Tim Mementi and the models Eva-Maria and Marlonne, who made it possible thanks to their spontaneity. Photos will follow on our website and social media.
Sample sale
A big part of our samples already went away via social media. However, we still have single pieces which we don't want to sell at full price. The reasons for this are different, many of them have small stains or glue residues from the production, which come out when washing. Some have white stripes, which are normal from the fabric and make up the cupro, but are more visible on a leg length, for example. Partly there are also some unsightly seams, but they are not noticeable or then we also have some samples that were worn only at a fashion show or a shooting and are therefore like new, simply washed once. The following sizes are still available, like give the samples at least half price. Please contact us if you are interested, we will be happy to send you photos. All samples are in the color rust intense.
